I didn't realize they were this bad but as I watch them tonight, they are simply that and a lot more. They're slow, they look lost and the players appear to have little interest--period! On one of the many Burris passes tonight to his receivers, I counted three defensive Lion players surrounding the receiver and he was still able to pick up three or four yards on the reception. I don't know what the cure is but I'm beginning to think Wally is about to coach his last game. Call it a gut feeling!
Thomas as the gun went off signalling the end of the first half, the Bombers certainly have to feel very good about their overall perfotrmance thus far and particularly their defensive play against Saskatchewan. Trailing by a meagre two points heading into the second half of this CFL game, not VFL as typed in the title to this thread, Winnipeg has a solid opportunity to pull off a huge upset in the first of back to back games against Saskatchewan today.
